According to NiMet, the western flank of the central states is likely to experience thunderstorms and rains, while the rest of the region is expected to be cloudy during the afternoon and evening hours.

It predicted that day and night temperatures in the region would be in the range of 27 – 30 celsius and 20 – 23 celsius. “Rains are likely over Eket, Port Harcourt and Calabar, while the rest of the region is expected to be cloudy during the morning hours.

“Later in the day, the entire region is expected to experience moderate rainfall with day and night temperature expected to be in the range of 26 – 310 celsius and 20 – 22 celsius,” NiMet predicted.
